What is TR3+?

Popular anti-aging treatments often target individual issues, like “parentheses” or the dreaded “crows feet,” and can eventually result in the unnatural, “overdone” look you’ve probably seen. At The Herschthal Practice, we understand that all of your facial features work together to define your appearance. Instead of using intensely targeted, single-issue treatments, we came up with the TR3+ treatment plan. The TR3+ method utilizes four distinct aesthetic components to achieve optimum results: tightening, revolumizing, relaxing and resurfacing.

How Does TR3+ Work?

At The Herschthal Practice we use a variety of procedures to target each component of the TR3+ plan. The TR3+ process is used to grow, protect, and repair cells. The effects of all three, when combined, are exponential.

Tighten

Tightening is achieved with Ultherapy®, SculpSure®, Kybella® and NovaThreads. Ultherapy® and SculpSure® are FDA-approved procedures tighten skin to provide an enhanced contour. Kybella® is the first and only FDA-approved injectable for the reduction of a “double chin.” NovaThreads act as a less invasive alternative to a facelift. These procedures help to recontour the body and face.

Revolumize

Revolumizing is achieved by using local dermal fillers (Belotero®, Juvéderm®, Restylane®, and Radiesse®) or global dermal fillers (Juvéderm® Voluma®, Sculptra®). During the aging process, the face loses volume and changes shape due to complex interactions among facial bone, muscle, fat, and skin. This results in wrinkles, folds, thinning lips, loose skin, and the general appearance of looking tired. Soft tissue fillers are used to revolumize and recontour your face for a naturally refreshed and more youthful look.

Relax

Relaxing facial muscles involves the use of the neuromodulators: Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin®. After years of smiling, frowning, and being surprised, you may have noticed some undesirable wrinkles on your forehead, between your eyebrows, and around your eyes. These are known as hyperactive expression lines and can be safely diminished with the use of FDA-approved neuromodulators.

Resurface

Resurfacing refers to the use of lasers, chemical peels, microneedling and microdermabrasion to address the outer layers of your skin. Both intrinsic aging (genetics!) and extrinsic aging (sun damage, lifestyle, stress) can have deleterious effects on the appearance of your skin. Superficial and deep wrinkles, loose skin, and changes in color/texture/tone are common to the aging process. Our services can address these issues by resurfacing the outer layers of your skin and encouraging the deeper layers to generate fresh collagen and elastin.

+ Skincare

The “+” at the end of TR3+ symbolizes that our treatment doesn’t just stop at those four components. We also recommend a personalized skincare regimen to our patients so that they can continue to enjoy the best results possible, even after their procedure is completed. Products include medical-grade skincare, chemical-free and mineral-only sunblocks, and topical medications to treat the face on a cellular level.
